Who is Aron Pálmarsson?

Aron Pálmarsson is an Icelandic handball player, currently playing for THW Kiel in the Toyota-Handball-Bundesliga. He also plays for the Icelandic national handball team and played a big part for the team as they earned a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic games and the bronze medal at the 2010 European handball championship in Austria.

He gained attention while playing for the team FH Hafnarfjörður before he transferred to THW Kiel.

In 29 December 2012 won Aron the adwards "Best athlete of the year 2012". He got 425 points.
