Who is Ilene Busch-Vishniac?
Ilene Busch-Vishniac is an American-born mechanical engineer and academic. Since 2007, she has been the provost and vice-president academic of McMaster University. In December 2011, she was selected as the ninth president of the University of Saskatchewan, replacing Peter MacKinnon. She is married to astrophysicist Ethan Vishniac.
Her five-year term began July 2012.
