Who was Patrícia Galvão?
Patrícia Rehder Galvão, known by her pseudonym Pagu was a Brazilian writer, poet, playwright, journalist and translator. She had a large role in the Brazilian Modernist movement, despite not participating of the 1922 Modern Art Week in São Paulo, being 12 years old at that time.
A Communist militant, she was the first woman to be arrested by political motivations.
