Who was Aliagha Vahid?
Aliagha Vahid, born Aliagha Mammadqulu oglu Isgandarov, was an Azerbaijani poet and Honoured Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR. He was known for reintroducing medieval ghazel style in Soviet Azerbaijani poetry.
