Who was Ashok Kamte?
Ashok Kamte AC was the Additional Commissioner of the Mumbai Police supervising the Eastern region. He was killed by terrorist bullets, while in action during the 2008 Mumbai attacks. His bravery was honored with the Ashoka Chakra on 26 January 2009.
