Who is David Jones?
David Ian Jones is a British Conservative Party politician and the Member of Parliament for Clwyd West. He was appointed Secretary of State for Wales on 4 September 2012, following David Cameron's first Cabinet reshuffle.
He is the first Welsh secretary to have served as an Assembly Member, and the first Conservative Welsh Secretary to represent a Welsh constituency since Nicholas Edwards.
