Who is Ella Bully-Cummings?
Ella M. Bully-Cummings was chief of police in Detroit from 2003-2008. She resigned just after her boss, Kwame Kilpatrick was convicted of multiple crimes. Bully-Cummings was also accused of having misused her position to protect Kwame's mistress from traffic tickets.
She is married to Attorney William Cummings, a retired Detroit police commander. She was previously married to former Wayne County Sheriff, former Detroit Police Chief Warren C. Evans.
