Who was Henry Norris Russell?
Henry Norris Russell was an American astronomer who, along with Ejnar Hertzsprung, developed the Hertzsprung–Russell diagram. In 1923, working with Frederick Saunders, he developed Russell–Saunders coupling which is also known as LS coupling.
